Charisma's Crayons

Inspired by a little girl named Charisma, we have come to understand how essential it is for children to have an encouraging environment in order to learn -- and this starts with the availability of basic resources. Charisma’s Crayons is a nonprofit organization bridging the gap between children’s desire to learn and the resources they need to flourish as a student.

We strive to support children experiencing homelessness by providing the resources required to succeed in school including school supplies and after-school tutoring.

We also educate and connect parents with resources to make food stamps, reduced lunches, and healthcare a reality for those who need it.

Unhealthy food, air, water, and land compromises a child's ability to learn. Charisma’s Crayons participates in various environmental justice efforts so that students can focus on school.

Naadiya Hutchinson

Naadiya holds a masters degress from Bloomberg School of Public Health. She works on environmental justice policy with Congressperson McEachin.

Diana Abarca

CEO

A recent graduate of UCF, Diana is passionate about education and alleviating the ills of poverty.
