Who are we?
Charisma’s Crayons is a nonprofit organization bridging the gap between children’s desire to learn and their educational needs.
What do we do?
We strive to provide homeless children with necessary resources in order to succeed in their education- including school supplies and tutoring. We also work to educate and connect parents with resources to make food stamps, reduced lunches, and healthcare for their children a possibility.
Why do what we do?
Homeless and in-transition families and children encounter barriers to school enrollment, attendance, stability, and overall academic success. We work to ensure that children experiencing homelessness have the same opportunity for educational success as housed.
